We are currently delivering two projects across the North East. These projects are funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund as part of the Building Better Opportunities initiative, and they have a total value of £13.2 million.
Step Forward Tees Valley
The NIC is delivering this three-year project supporting over 2,500 people in the Tees Valley area to overcome the complex reasons preventing them from finding work. The NIC is programme-managing the delivery of this three-year project supporting over 1,600 people in Tyne and Wear who are aged 25+ and out of work due to complex health issues and other barriers, such as long-term unemployment, debt, low skills, or housing issues. Visit the website to read more.
