Northern Inclusion Consortium

About us

Due to the ongoing pressures and increasing burden placed on our health, social care, housing, and criminal justice systems, there is an increasing need for consolidation and joined-up approaches to tackling the issues facing our communities.

The Northern Inclusion Consortium is a group of four leading North East charities: Changing Lives, Groundwork NE & Cumbria, Humankind, and Mental Health Concern. Together, we provide innovative, person-centred services to address issues including homelessness, poor mental health, joblessness, offending backgrounds, and substance misuse.

Through the Consortium, we seek to transform and develop current and future service delivery, develop delivery partnerships, collaborations and networks, shape the commissioning and funding landscape, and ensure that the voices of our organisations and those we work with are adequately heard within decision- and policy-making.
